Pechanga Arena San Diego Donates Gloves to San Diego Hospital

In response to growing concerns over the Coronavirus (COVID-19), this week Pechanga Arena San Diego donated 3,500 single use, latex gloves to Sharp Memorial Hospital. Latex gloves are in high demand as medical professionals look to treat patient needs related to the virus and the everyday needs of medical facilities. The arena is heeding calls by local and national government officials to contribute in any way possible, including donating goods needed by hospitals and medical facilities.

“We are proud to make this contribution and hope it helps in patient care,” said Pechanga Arena General Manager Ernie Hahn. “We will continue to look for ways to contribute our resources as the matter unfolds. We are also focused on maintaining the health and safety of our guests when events start up again.”

As previously reported, Pechanga Arena San Diego is continuing to adhere to the directives of local, state and federal officials in monitoring efforts to prevent the spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19). The health, safety and security of our guests, performers, athletes, clients and associates remains our highest priority. Events scheduled for March and April have been cancelled or postponed.
