Artist Information
Celebrating 10 Years of Life in Color! We are proud to unveil the 2017 X Tour! Get ready to go HARD IN THE PAINT!
An internationally praised electronic act, Cash Cash, comprised of best friends and brothers (Jean Paul Makhlouf, Alex Makhlouf and Samuel Frisch) are hailed for their infectious dance-pop original tracks, vibrant remix productions as well as their energetic live DJ sets on festival mainstages and clubs spanning across the globe. Cash Cash emerged from the start with global recognition and support from renowned DJs and peers, including Tiesto, Hardwell, Zedd, Nicky Romero, captivating dance music insiders and friends along the way. Their hit song “Take Me Home” featuring Bebe Rexha has gathered over 50 million Spotify streams, over 20 million YouTube views, and Gold certification in the United States; while latest single “Surrender” broke the Top 40 chart, the trio’s second #1 song on dance radio. Currently in the studio working on new music, the guys are working with Busta Rhymes, B.o.B, Fitz & The Tantrums, Capital Cities, Christina Perri, and more.
At a time when the DJ sits firmly at the center of popular culture, A-Trak stands out as MVP, the key participant who holds together all facets of the craft. Very few share his mastery of turntablism while also sitting at the forefront of musical innovation, looking keenly to the future with history tucked in his back pocket. A true connector, Trizzy hops effortlessly from colossal festival stages to sold-out concert venues and sweaty underground clubs, building links between hip hop and electronic music while watching genre barriers crumble.
Rusko graduated from Leeds College of Music with a degree in Music Performance. Immersed in the world of dubstep through Leeds based event “Sub Dub” which was held at the West Indian Centre, Rusko moved to London to work with the record label Sub Soldiers with now no longer associated act Caspa. During this period he introduced producer Reso to Dubstep and the two lived for a time together, driving his roommate “a bit mental” with hearing the track “Cockney Thug” through the wall for a week.
On 26 October 2012, Fact Magazine posted an interview with Rusko where he stated he planned to release his music for free instead of signing with Mad Decent again, following his dispute with the record label about the release of his second album. The Kapow EP is his first self release. In 2013 he joined OWSLA.
In 2015, Rusko and his former production/DJ partner Caspa announced a reunion with their first American show together.
