Pechanga Arena San Diego is a public facility that hosts a diverse population of local residents and visitors for a variety of events, including concerts, family shows, sporting events, corporate rentals and other events. Pechanga Arena San Diego takes pride in providing a clean, safe environment for our guests to enjoy their favorite form of entertainment. Public safety is absolutely priority number one at Pechanga Arena San Diego and we rely on the cooperation and the good judgment of every person who enters the facility to ensure this level of safety. This includes constantly re-evaluating our practices and making changes when needed.

COVID-19 Recommended Guidelines
Although it is not required, the State of California strongly recommends attendees wear masks and follow CDPH Guidance for Face Coverings, and suggest that attendees be fully vaccinated or obtain a negative COVID-19 test prior to attending an Indoor Mega Event.

We’re Fans of Clean Hands
Clean your hands often by washing with soap and water for 20 seconds or using hand sanitizer. There are hand sanitizer stations, faucets, paper towel dispensers, and soap dispensers throughout the venue.
Cashless
Pechanga Arena San Diego is a fully cash-free inside the venue that only accepts debit and credit cards, for a safe and speedy check out. We no longer accept cash.
Clear Bag Policy
All persons and bags are subject to search. Clear tote bags (including handbags/purses) that are clear plastic, vinyl or PVC and do not exceed 12” x 6” x 12” will be admitted inside after inspection. One-gallon clear plastic freezer or storage bags are also permitted. Small clutch bags or wallets that do not exceed 4.5” x 6.5 “, with or without a handle or strap, may be carried into the venue along with one of the clear bag options (clear tote or storage bag). Oversized bags (i.e. backpacks, suitcases, beach bags, laptop bags, etc.) are prohibited. Pechanga Arena San Diego does not provide a general area to check bags, coats or any other personal belongings. For a list of other prohibited items, see below.
Metal Detection Devices
In light of recent world events, we have opted to take additional measures in our effort to increase public safety within our venue. Along with the enforcement of bag size limits that have recently been introduced, effective immediately, we will be implementing the use of metal detection devices at all venue entrances for all events. In order to accommodate for this additional process, we ask that you please plan on arriving at least one hour prior to the scheduled start time of an event. While we understand that this may cause an inconvenience to some, we want you to know that we sincerely appreciate your patience and understanding as we continue to strive to provide a fun AND safe experience for all.
Disallowed Items
Pechanga Arena San Diego staff will not take possession of prohibited items from any guest at any time. Any prohibited item left at any entrance by a guest will be disposed of immediately. The following list of prohibited items is not all inclusive and may change without notice and/or at the discretion of venue security.
The following items are NOT allowed in the Pechanga Arena San Diego under any circumstances:
- BACKPACKS AND LARGE BAGS (See Bag Policy below for more information)
- Weapons, firearms, pepper spray/mace, flares or fireworks
- Food, beverage, liquid containers, alcohol, cans, bottles, flasks, coolers or water bottles. For sporting or family events (i.e. Gulls, Disney on Ice) each ticketed guest may bring in ONE (1) unopened plastic water bottle, one liter (1L) or smaller in size. Water must be clear/non-flavored. For all other events, all outside food or beverages, including water are prohibited
- Umbrellas
- Workman’s Tool, pocket knives, or any other tools
- Laser pens/pointers, flashlights, glow products (including but not limited to sticks, necklaces and bracelets) or laptop/tablet computers
- Noise making devices: Air horns, cowbells, drums or whistles
- Signs/Flags/Banners/Posters will not be admitted unless otherwise posted by tour management
- Wallet chains or studded belts/bracelets
- Pamphlets or product samples
- Skateboards, rollerblades, bicycles, helmets or chairs
- Balloons, permanent markers or spray paint
- Drugs, illegal substances and prescription medicine (aside from asthma inhaler with matching prescription) or other medications unless approved by onsite medical personnel. Please request medical check upon approaching venue entrance.
- Video or audio recording devices of any kind including GoPro cameras
- Any item that may be deemed potentially harmful
- iPads/tablets
- Sporting equipment (Team-related items such as soccer balls will be allowed, but must be deflated and branded with respective team logo)
Costumes should comply with the general Rules & Policies and should further not include full face masks or replica weapons.
No tailgating. This includes no playing hockey or other sports inside of the parking lot.
Additional Items Prohibited for Attendees of LED Events (EDM concerts):
- Outside food & beverages
- Pacifiers, eyedrops, chapstick, lipgloss and lipstick
- Pamphlets, product samples, fliers, decals and stickers
- Professional cameras and equipment ( No detachable lenses/camera bags)
- Camelbaks
- Permanent markers or spray paint
- E-cigarettes, vaporizers, vape pens, atomizers, electronic nicotine delivery systems
- Any item containing chemical fluids (including E-cig fluid)
- Two-way radios
- Drugs, illegal substances and prescription medicine (aside from asthma inhaler with matching prescription) or other medications unless approved by onsite medical personnel. Please request medical check upon approaching venue entrance.
- Candy necklaces, bracelets (beaded bracelets ok but subject to inspection)
- Skateboards, rollerblades, bicycles, hoverboards, helmets and/or chairs
- Breathalyzers
- Light gloves and make-up (powder, eye shadow, etc.) are discouraged at EDM events

Baby Bags/Bottles/Formula/Parent Information
Baby bags, plastic baby bottles, and formula are permitted into the building. Should the bag be larger than the approved bag size, guests may be asked to check the bag in to Guest Services (located on the Outer Concourse Sections 4 and 15).
Parents/guardians who have purchased floor seats with their small children can request a clip from an Usher to prevent the child’s seat from folding. The child must be a ticketed guest.
Camera/Video Recording Device/Binocular Policy
Point and shoot cameras are permitted provided they are non-professional, intended for personal use and have a non-detachable lens less than three inches in length. No video cameras are permitted. No flashes are permitted at any time. POLICY IS SUBJECT TO CHANGE PER EVENT.
Guests are welcome to bring their personal binoculars for most events at Pechanga Arena San Diego. Binoculars should be compact/pocket sized (no larger than 6”x6” when extended). Binoculars that have digital camera capabilities may be prohibited from being used during events that do not allow video recording of the performance.
Alcohol Policy
No outside alcohol is permitted in the venue. Consumption of alcohol in the parking lot is prohibited.
Searchable Items
Pechanga Arena San Diego reserves the right to search bags, backpacks, purses and persons to ensure public safety. All of the above items will not be allowed into the venue. People attempting to bring in items listed above will be asked to return them to their vehicle and delay their entrance into the venue.
Service Animals/Guide Dogs
Animals or pets of any kind are prohibited at Pechanga Arena San Diego with the exception of trained service animals and service animals in training for guests with disabilities. Service animals are welcome inside the venue, but must, at all times, remain on a leash or in a harness. Service animals should rest in the seating area of the individual with a disability, rather than in the aisle. A guest whose service animal poses a threat to the safety of other Pechanga Arena San Diego guests and employees may be asked to escort the animal off the premises.
Smoking
California law prohibits smoking in public assembly facilities. Smoking is allowed in designated areas located outside select entrances to the facility. Please check with a Pechanga Arena San Diego usher or security personnel for exact locations.
Acceptable Forms of ID
Pechanga Arena San Diego accepts the following forms of identification where alcohol is served:
- Valid driver’s license from any of the 50 states
- Valid ID card from the state of California only
- Valid Military ID with photo
- Valid passport with photo
Alcoholic beverages can only be purchased and consumed by persons 21 years of age and older with proper government-issued photo identification.
Ball/Puck in Play Policy
Pechanga Arena San Diego is committed to creating a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable entertainment experience. Please be aware of our Whistle Policy, which requires guests to refrain from accessing their seats until the ball/puck is no longer in play. This policy enables guests to enjoy an unobstructed view of the game.

Guest Code of Conduct
Please help us create a safe and friendly environment for all guests at Pechanga Arena San Diego! Guests are expected to adhere to the following guidelines and should expect an environment where:
- Guests will be treated in a consistent, professional, and courteous manner by all venue personnel.
- Guests agree to follow the Arena’s health and safety policies, as well as all applicable Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) guidance, local, state, and federal orders, regulations and ordinances pertaining to health and safety at all times while at the venue. Health and safety policies may be posted throughout the venue and on tickets.
- Guests will consume alcoholic beverages in a responsible manner. Intervention with an impaired, intoxicated, or underage guest will be handled in a prompt and safe manner. Management reserves the right to deny entry into the venue and/or refuse service to guests displaying visible signs of impairment/intoxication.
- Guests will sit only in their ticketed seats. Guests must always possess a valid ticket and/or credential and provide it when requested.
- Guests are permitted to sit or stand during an event if they are only occupying the area in front of their ticketed seat. Standing in aisles and/or on chairs is strictly prohibited.
- Guests who engage in disruptive behavior (including foul/abusive language or obscene gestures), fighting, throwing objects, or attempting to enter the field/ice/stage/unauthorized areas will be immediately ejected from the venue without refund or reimbursement.
- Guests are required to wear clothing (i.e. shirt, pants and shoes for safety). Nudity, partial nudity, body paint and pasties are prohibited. Clothing that is deemed offensive, obscene or displays offensive text and/or images is not allowed. Pechanga Arena management reserves the right to deny entry or eject guests based on these requirements.
- Guests will smoke only in designated smoking areas outside the Arena (including the use of vaporizers and e-cigarettes). Pechanga Arena is a non-smoking venue.
- Guests will comply with all requests from venue staff regarding facility operations and emergency response procedures.
- Guests will not damage or destroy venue property or violate any local, state, federal or Pechanga Arena policy.
- Parking passes are required in all parking lots, and parking spaces are available only for guests attending the event. Tailgating ends at the start of the event. Guests will not loiter or tailgate in Pechanga Arena parking areas during or after an event. All Pechanga Arena parking lots will be cleared and cleaned one hour after the conclusion of each event.
- Guests are encouraged to report any incident, concern, or inappropriate behavior to venue personnel.
- Pechanga Arena staff have been trained to intervene where necessary to help ensure the above expectations are met. Please report any inappropriate behavior to the nearest Security or Guest Services team member as soon as possible. Guests who choose not to adhere to these provisions will be subject to ejection without refund, and season ticket holders may also be subject to having their season subscription revoked and may also be in violation of city ordinances resulting in possible arrest and prosecution.
- If you feel our staff does not address an issue to your satisfaction, please request to speak with a Supervisor immediately. Arena management reserves the right to approve, adjust, or enforce any policy at their discretion.
