Since opening its doors in 1966, Pechanga Arena San Diego, originally known as San Diego Sports Arena, has stood at the center of the region’s cultural identity. From groundbreaking musical performances to historic sporting moments, the arena has been the stage for generations of unforgettable experiences that have defined San Diego’s entertainment legacy. The 60th Anniversary campaign honors that remarkable history while boldly positioning Pechanga Arena for continued growth, relevance, and impact in the decades ahead.
The celebration will unfold through a dynamic, multi-phase campaign combining brand storytelling, deep community engagement, fan-driven initiatives, and high-impact activations designed to build powerful momentum toward a milestone anniversary moment.

The campaign will launch with the debut of Pechanga Arena’s official 60th Anniversary logo across in-venue signage, digital platforms, and a dedicated social media video campaign, establishing the visual identity for a milestone year.
Pechanga Arena will partner with celebrated San Diego artist Mel Marcelo on a featured cultural exhibition at Comic-Con Museum — one of the city’s most prominent cultural destinations. The exhibition will showcase the arena’s storied legacy through a distinctly San Diego artistic lens, reinforcing its commitment to the local arts community.
