This summer, Operation Gratitude partnered with ASM Global and Pechanga Arena San Diego to proudly celebrate the newest Marines graduating from Marine Corps Recruit Depot-San Diego. The organization hosted a Care Pouch assembly day on Friday, July 22 at Pechanga Arena with 89 enthusiastic volunteers to thank the 5,000 Marine Recruit Graduates for stepping forward and devoting the next several years of their lives in service to our nation. The pouches were filled with useful items we know the Recruit Graduates will enjoy and they were delivered to them to honor this defining moment of their lives.
Operation Gratitude Care Packages contained snacks, personal care and hygiene products, handmade items, and, most importantly, handwritten letters from grateful Americans across the country. It’s part of Operation Gratitude’s overarching mission to express deep appreciation for those who step forward to serve and sacrifice on our behalf.
