On December 13, the team at Pechanga Arena San Diego participated in the ASM Global Month of Giving to give back in a big way. Pechanga Arena San Diego joined venues across the world to serve their local communities through volunteering, donating and more. This year, the team volunteered with Feeding San Diego to help end hunger through food rescue.
Various team members at Pechanga Arena San Diego and Feeding San Diego suited up on a rainy day to do their part by packaging and distributing poultry, dry goods and produce bags that included apples, kiwis, zucchinis, potatoes and more. 23,600 pounds of food were distributed to 590 households in the local community.
“This was an incredible opportunity for our team members to come together for the greater good of the communities we serve, and we were thrilled to be apart of something as important as Feeding San Diego,” said Assistant General Manager Ryan Golden.
