Artist Information
Flosstradamus
Curt Cameruci (aka Autobot) and Josh Young (aka J2K) began Flosstradamus as a series of DJ parties in their hometown of Chicago. Word of mouth about their eclectic mashup of electro, house, minimal techno, and sleazy R&B quickly spread, and their parties would often sell out at a moment’s notice. Their monthly party continued to be a heavy draw during the mid-2000s, with people from all over the nation traveling to Chicago to experience their performances. In 2011 the project became an official recording act with the release of the Jubilation EP on Fool’s Gold. The 2013 EP, Total Recall, was released through the Mad Decent imprint Jeffree’s, then in 2015, they joined the Ultra label with the EP Soundclash.
Botnek
Botnek are a DJ/production duo from Montreal, Canada. Their unique style and productions take influence from electro house, rave and techno. The duo have completed remixes for Mat Zo & Porter Robinson, Steve Aoki, Tommie Sunshine, Tocadisco, Felix Cartal, AutoErotique, Jack Beats, Crookers, Buraka Som Sistema & AC Slater. They won a remix competition for Dim Mak Records, for Felix Cartal‘s single “Skeleton“. Their first EP “Plonk” was released on May 9, 2011 on Discobelle Records.
Dombresky
Dombresky is a producer from Paris. He made his name with his unique style and his finesse , which allowed him to make an official remix for A-Trak’s “We All Fall Down” and a collaboration with Tchami on the track, Freakin, released on his EP. With his brand new single,Wait, Dombresky made the pressure rise once again and provides us a track of a cheerful melody, signed on Tchami’s label “Confession”. Supported by artists like Diplo, DJ Snake, Anna Lunoe & many others, he highlighted a house way old school and stands out as one of the new faces of the French Electro scene.
HeRobust
HeRobust rose to prominence alongside big basslines and Southern hip-hop stylings, like crunk and trap, that focused on deep percussion and rap rawness. His first LP, 2011’s Albumin, showcased his love of underground hip-hop and jazzy textures, much like Flying Lotus. He followed with a steady output of sounds in 2012: the downtempo Screw Loose EP and the chilled-out split LP Late Night and Morning After. During the ensuing years, he released a series of singles, like “Turn Ape,” “Throw That,” “Sheknowshebad,” “Get Busted,” and “Party McFly,” as well as the Busted House EP. In addition to the punny wordplay that he employed for his song titles, he also branded himself by denoting heRobust remixes as being “BUSTED.” He caught the ears of Skrillex, Tiësto, and Diplo, the latter even devoting an hour of his radio show to a curated heRobust mix. As his style evolved from a primarily hip-hop vibe into a more Skrillex-esque bass-heavy dancefloor sound, Kramer dropped his I’m Aloud EP on Mad Decent in 2016.
