Veterans Employment Committee of San Diego Job and Resource Fair is quickly approaching and this year is expected to be the best yet! This is the largest Job Fair in San Diego County which focuses on hiring Veterans. More than 1500 job seekers are expected and approximately 135 employers will be in attendance. This event will provide networking opportunities for Veterans who are searching for employment along with resume reviews that will prepare them for potential jobs.
This year’s event is: Thursday, November 15, 2018 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Pechanga Arena San Diego, 3500 Sports Arena Blvd. San Diego CA 92110.
VEC Job and Resource Fair provides an excellent opportunity for job seekers with military experience to learn more about the employers and businesses throughout San Diego County and to share their qualifications with employer (s) of interest. Additionally, job seekers can have their resumes reviewed and critiqued – a huge plus in this competitive economy. It’s our hope that attendees will walk away feeling one step closer on their path to employment. Although targeted at veterans, the event is open to the public and free to all jobseekers.
San Diego-based Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) Southwest will be among the many employers offering interviews and jobs to qualified candidates at the event. Those who preregister before November 1 with this employer will be considered for an on-site interview at the Job Fair. By using expedited hiring methods at this job fair, it has never been easier to submit for a federal position. Berg Electric returns as a major sponsor.
